Cheryl is a senior living in Natick, MA, caring for her daughter, who is undergoing cancer treatment. The two live on a fixed income, barely enough to cover everyday necessities, let alone unexpected emergencies. In April, their furnace was shut down due to dangerously high carbon monoxide levels detected by another HVAC company. Since then, they’ve been without heat, a situation that had become dire as colder months approached.
With her daughter’s health already compromised, the lack of warmth is adding tremendous strain. They were in urgent need of help to restore comfort and safety to their home. Cheryl was nominated in September 2024 and the new heating system was installed for her in October, 2024 providing her warmth right in time for the cold weather.
