Sponsors of Mass Save® offer a variety of rebates to residential electric customers for installing qualified high-efficiency central air conditioning systems or central heat pumps.

1. Actual tons are calculated based on AHRI cooling capacity divided by 12,000 BTUs. Rebate amount based on actual tons. 2. Integrated controls are either approved control packages or dual fuel thermostats that switch between a heat pump and a central heating system. 3. The Sponsors do not recommend fully replacing existing central heating systems with heat pump equipment. Customers that choose to do so may access the Fuel Optimization incentive levels without the installation of an integrated control. See Terms and Conditions for full requirements. Cannot be combined with other rebate for same equipment. |

Eligibility
- Must be a Massachusetts residential electric customer of Cape Light Compact, Eversource, National Grid, or Unitil.
- Equipment purchases and installations made between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022 are eligible
- Equipment must be installed by a licensed heating contractor or plumber.
- Municipal electric customers (who do live in a Mass Save sponsored territory) are not eligible.
- Equipment installation may be subject to a verification inspection.
- Electric heating and cooling equipment may be available at no cost through the Income Eligible Program. Find out more and see if you qualify.
